We are delighted to introduce the newly reimagined Hanford Garden, following a comprehensive luxury renovation thoughtfully designed to elevate the full event experience.
As part of this next chapter, your celebration now includes professional cleanup and complete event breakdown, including personal items, décor, and rentals, so your evening may end in celebration, rather than logistics.
We are also excited to unveil a brand new and well suited Groom’s Suite, offering the second partner a dedicated and comfortable space to prepare for the day.
The property also now features enhanced lighting fixtures, added fencing for additional privacy, elevated spaces, added bar in the cocktail grove, and more thoughtful behind-the-scenes event support, all included as part of your venue experience.
For those who wish to further streamline the day, we also offer select enhancements such as valet service and curated rentals.

We want you to have the wedding of your dreams. At time of booking, you will receive a preferred vendor list of some of our favorite vendors—but you are not required to use it, with the exception of some limitations in regards to DJ/Entertainment and Coordinator. Inquire for more details.
To ensure your day runs smoothly, we require all couples to have a professional planner/coordinator — at minimum, a professional day-of coordinator.
While our venue team is here to make sure the property is in perfect working order, we do not manage your timeline or direct the flow of your event. Having a dedicated planner or coordinator ensures your day unfolds seamlessly, and allows you (and your loved ones) to be fully present.
Whether you choose a full-service planner or a month-of or day-of coordinator, having a professional in place is essential to creating a stress-free and organized experience.
Weekends amplified music must be off by 9:00 PM and guests must be off the property by 10:00 PM in accordance with The City of Sutter Creek Noise Ordinances. Main Street is super fun for after parties!
We are an outdoor venue. Our only indoor space is the bridal suite & bathroom lounge. We do have a covered pergola known as the Cocktail Grove.
You can have beer, wine, & 2 signature cocktails. No straight alcohol (shots, on the rocks, etc.) There are no corkage fees. You must hire a licensed bartender. No self service.

Yes! Sutter Creek is a popular vacation destination and The Hanford Garden is located near the end of Main Street—which means there are plenty of hotels, Inns, AirBNB’s, restaurants, bars, pubs and wine rooms within walking distance to our venue! Bars & pubs are very popular for after parties. You can just walk right down.
